After the successful use of the RPS and having created the most optimal sailing performances the concept of the Amartech RPS is not only be used for racing yachts but also for the leisure yachting industry. The Amartech RPS has been adapted by leisure sailing yachts and sailing catamarans, for those who are striving to the best possible sailing performances!

The Amartech Retractable Propulsion Solutions are available in two versions made out of TITANIUM and STAINLESS STEEL and are suitable for engine powers up to 100 HP. The design and engineering of the (carbon) cassette in which the RPS has to be mounted into the hull, is not included in the scope of supply.

Short description of the two versions:

Ultra Light Version 

•  Bracket, coupling and shaft made out of titanium
•  Stern tube made out of carbon
•  Propeller made out of carbon, custom designed for each yacht for highest efficiency
•  The total weight of the complete RPS (excluding cassette) is only 13 kgs.

 
Light Weight Version

•  Bracket, coupling and shaft made out of Duplex 4462
•  Stern tube made out of epoxy
•  Propeller made out of NiAlBr, custom designed for each yacht for highest efficiency
•  The total weight of the complete RPS (excluding cassette) is only 45 kgs.
